TNT Fireworks is looking to peddle its wares this year in the Burnsville Wal-Mart parking lot. Wal-Mart is asking the city for a conditional use permit for its 12200 River Ridge Blvd. location between June 26 and July 7, <a href="http://www.startribune.com/local/south/209791841.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Star Tribune is reporting</a>. The planning commission has recommended approval and the city council will make a decision at its meeting tonight. If the city grants approval, fireworks will be sold at the stand between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. A spokesman for TNT said they only sell "safe and sane" fireworks, such as sparklers and ground-based fireworks that only send sparks up to 10 feet above earth, <a href="http://www.startribune.com/local/south/209791841.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the paper reported</a>.
