The restaurant had been a mom and pop business since 2006.
BURNSVILLE, MN — Canton Restaurant in Burnsville has closed permanently.
According to the eatery's Facebook page, its last day open was Saturday.
The restaurant posted that it had been a mom and pop operation since 2006 and closed the store to avoid being overwhelmed.

"It happened anyways, we were flooded with food orders (and love) like we've never seen," Canton wrote. "Thank you everyone!"
The business posted a photo of a hat and apron hung up on Saturday, saying "That's a wrap."
