Construction On County Road 42 Will Begin Monday: City

BURNSVILLE, MN — Construction will begin Monday on County Road 42 between the west county line and County Road 11, according to Dakota County's website.

The project is scheduled to be done in September, according to Dakota County.

Several inches of the existing pavement will be removed and replaced with new asphalt, and a right turn lane will be added at Grand Avenue, the county said. The project also includes adding pedestrian ramps and signal upgrades at intersections, as well as repairing storm and sanitary sewers and main water structures, the county said.

Lane closures, road access restrictions and trail closures can be expected during construction, according to the county.
