Day Trip: Have Gruesome Good Fun at the Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis

Guys and ghouls might want to head north this weekend for an event of truly staggering proportions.

It's back: Zombie fever is seizing the Twin Cities once again. Saturday marks the eighth annual Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis, and this time Twin Cities organizers are hoping to break a Guinness world record, currently held by Seattle.

So far, almost 5,000 people have said they will bring their bloody, maggot-bitten selves to the gathering. Will Burnsville do its part? In the interest of helping the cause, here are some helpful links:

• Tickets can be purchased online, with wristband pickup at Ragstock or will-call at the bar itself. They're $22 now, $40 the day of, and organizers expect to sell out.
