Community Ed Class: Viking Weave Necklace

Create a stunning Viking weave necklace. Viking weave is an art form that has been used for centuries. Wire is hand-woven around a mandrel and then pulled through a drawplate to secure the intricate weave. You will make a necklace with additional details on clasps and jump rings. Completed pieces are elegant, durable and one-of-a-kind. It’s as easy as sewing or knitting. Once you have learned the technique, you’ll be making jewelry pieces for friends and family for years to come. For those who have taken a Viking Weave class, all the supplies you need to create your stunning necklace are included in your course fee. If you have not taken a Viking Weave class, the kit ($30) is included in your $59 tuition fee. You’ll leave the class with a completed necklace in silver, copper, gold or bronze.
