Find a Summer Sports Camp Near Burnsville

Having your kids participate in an organized summer camp program is certainly not a necessity, but there are plenty of benefits, both physical and emotional, to be realized.

Socialization, fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and increased self-esteem are just a few. Perhaps your child would like to develop or expand a particular expertise, or simply hone their skills in preparation for school teams or clubs.

The Burnsville Recreation and Facilities Department is likely the best place to start. Today is the deadline to register for preschool soccer or the Golden Summer Games.

Clubs such as the YMCA, scouting groups, or even nearby swim, tennis or country clubs are viable options as well. Likely outside the school district, such clubs present opportunities for children to meet and mingle with a new set of peers. New friends are an added perk.
