Here's How Much Snow Fell In Burnsville Friday: NWS
Burnsville got much more snow than the 10 inches predicted by NWS.
BURNSVILLE, MN — While National Weather Service originally predicted that Burnsville would get between 6-10 inches of snow Friday, the city ended up getting slammed with 15-18 inches, new numbers show.
ISD 191 closed schools two hours early in anticipation of the snowfall.
Despite the Twin Cities being buried in snow Friday, much of the snow could easily melt later this week. NWS predicts that Wednesday will have temperatures in the 50s.
