Southbound I-35W: Southbound Closed from Oct. 14-17 <ul> <li>Access to Burnsville from Interstate 35 will be tough going this weekend. The southbound stretch of I-35W between Highway 13 and the I-35/I-35W/I-35E split in Burnsville will close tonight at 10 p.m. It will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17</li> <li>The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises motorists to take an alternate route: Eastbound Hwy 13 to southbound Hwy 77 to southbound I-35E to southbound I-35.</li> </ul> I-694 westbound closed Oct. 14-17 <ul> <li>Burnsville residents who need to travel into the Northern suburbs should avoid westbound I-694/Hwy 10, which will be closed between I-35E and I-35W from 10 p.m. Friday Oct. 14. The road will reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday Oct. 17. Eastbound traffic on I-694 will not be affected. </li> <li>In addition, Northbound Snelling Avenue to westbound I-694 will also be completely blocked off.</li> <li>MnDOT's suggested detour is south on I-35E, west on Hwy 36 and then north on I-35W. </li> </ul> <ul> </ul>
