MN Restaurant Taco Chon Sued Over Name By Taco John's

BURNSVILLE, MN —A taco spot with locations in Burnsville and St. Cloud is being sued over its name by a Mexican restaurant chain, according to the St. Cloud Times.

Taco Chon is the subject of a legal complaint filed by Taco John’s, the Times reports. Taco John’s is seeking an injunction to prevent Taco Chon from keeping its name and wants all the profits Taco Chon earned under its current name, plus damages, according to the Times.

The owner of Taco Chon told the Times his customers have been supportive, and a GoFundMe has been started to assist Taco Chon.
