MnDOT Schedules Hwy. 13 Lane Closures This Weekend
Both the northbound and southbound lanes will be affected, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Motorists may experience delays as Hwy. 13 between Cliff Road and Yankee Doodle Road is reduced to a single lane Friday, July 27.

At 6 p.m. southbound Hwy. 13 lanes will be closed and shifted to a single lane traveling on the northbound lanes. In addition northbound Hwy. 13 also will be reduced to a single lane.
Intersections from the north also will be closed and detoured as well as ramps from Cedar Avenue to southbound Hwy. 13.

All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 30.
The work is part of the 12-mile-long Hwy. 13 Better Roads project. When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride, improved drainage and upgraded pedestrian crossings and signals that meet modern accessibility standards.
