Orange Line To Open In December In Burnsville: Report

Burnsville will have two stations, and other cities serviced include Minneapolis, Richfield and Bloomington.

BURNSVILLE, MN — The Orange Line rapid transit service will open along I-35W on Dec. 4, according to a report from Sun Thisweek.

It will be operated by Metro Transit and offer more frequent throughout the day than the freeway express routes currently being used, the publication reported.

The Orange Line will serve 12 transit stations in Burnsville, Bloomington, Richfield and Minneapolis, the report said.

Burnsville's two stations will be at southwest corner of Nicollet Avenue and Highway 13 and at Travelers Trail and Burnsville Parkway, according to the report.
