Savage, Say Hello to Sick Inc.

The Munich-based company recently made a move on territories south of the river, relocating all of its production and warehousing facilities to Savage.

A German company with global reach has extended its grasp into Savage's Eagle Creek Industrial Park.

In early November, Savage saw the arrival of Sick Inc. a major producer of fiber optic sensors, scanners and other vision-based reading systems. Sick has expanded its production and warehousing facilities in Minnesota and relocated them all to the Eagle Creek. According to the trade publication, Robotics Online, the 50,000-square-foot space in Savage doubles Sick’s total floor space in the Twin Cities region. About 100 employees now work in Savage.
