Chess sets are needed for the district chess tournament on Saturday, Dec. 15, which is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Metcalf Junior High. The tournament will involve students from all 10 elementary schools in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District. According to the district website, it is still possible to sign up. The cost to participate is $15.
