'Shelter-In-Place' Order Lifted At Burnsville Apartment Complex

BURNSVILLE, MN — A shelter-in-place order at a Burnsville apartment complex has been lifted after a report of shots fired Tuesday afternoon. One person is in custody, authorities said.

Burnsville police acknowledged a "large public safety response" at the Felix Apartments on 143rd Street.

While the area is now secure, the scene remains active. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
