Heat Drives Wednesday in the Park Concert Indoors
Songs of Hope, an international group of children, will perform in Burnsville.

It turns out the weather is too hot for an outdoor concert.
With Burnsville under a heat advisory, the July 17 Wednesday in the Park concert will be held indoors, according to concert organizers, the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Community Education department.
A note on the community education website says:
Due to the warm weather we are experiencing- the July 17, Wednesday in the Park Concert will be held INSIDE at Diamondhead in the upper commons.
Park in the upper level and use door #1 or 2 to enter the building.
Come inside this week and stay cool with Songs of Hope! 7PM
The indoor location is Diamondhead Education Center, located at 200 West Burnsville Parkway.
Wednesday's concert starts at 7 p.m. and features Songs of Hope, an international performing arts camp for children aged 10 to 13.
Donate a non-perishable food item and receive a can of Pepsi in return. People can buy popcorn for $1 from the Burnsville Senior Center.
Wednesday in the Park schedule for the rest of the summer:
July 24: Ticket to Brasil
July 31: Alison Scott Duo
Aug. 7: The WHITESIDEWALLS Rock’n Roll Revue
