Tuesday

Burnsville City Council Meeting: This week the council will consider permits for a new bridge on Black Dog Road, a soil remediation project on Lady Bird Lane, and the city's tax abatement policy.

• Listening Hour with the Superintendent Randy Clegg at Hidden Valley Elementary, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30.

• From Soup to Nuts on the Bulk Trail: Want to know how to minimize the amount of grocery packaging you use? Come to this class at . The course is $16 for members, $19 for non-members. It runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30.

• Bass Guitar Workshop with Jeff Bailey: Kids can bone up on bass technique with Bailey, an accomplished bassist from the McNally Smith College of Music, who is hosting a series of workshops at . Students from any School of Rock are welcome to attend at no charge. Board of Education Meeting: 6:30 p.m. at the BHS Senior Campus or Diamondhead Education Center. The board will vote on a measure to expand all-day kindergarten in the district.
