The city has several fun events planned this spring.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Although Minnesota's spring has been dreary so far, the city of Burnsville has lots of activities planned this spring.
Here are the events planned in May:
- May 4 at 6 p.m.: Virtual Landscaping for Clean Water Workshop- Get advice and learn from experts on raingarden, native garden and shoreline restoration design about how to start your gardening projects.
- May 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Fire Station No. 1 Grand Opening- Tour the new facility, meet the fire department and more.
- May 21
- Garden Tool Swap and Native Plant Market from 9 a.m.-noon at City Hall
- Public Works Open House from 9 a.m.-noon at Burnsville Maintenance Facility- Look at the trucks and equipment that serves Burnsville
- May 28 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.: Kids to Park Trail Day at Terrace Oaks West- Learn about natural resources, go on a scavenger hunt, and more.
