Vista View Elementary School Names New Principal
The school's current principal will retire this summer.

BURNSVILLE, MN — ISD 191 announced that it had named a new principal for Vista View Elementary School.
Dr. Angie Pohl will start the position this summer following the retirement of Principal Nepsund, ISD 191 said.
Pohl was previously the principal at Nicollet Middle School- a position she began during the 2018-19 school year, the district said. Before that, she was an associate principal at Burnsville High School, ISD 191 said.

She also has experience in classroom teaching, being an instructional coach, an educational researcher at the U of M and was also a school psychologist, the district said.
"During her time leading Nicollet, Dr. Pohl has built a strong and positive culture and supported the school’s continued excellence as an AVID National Demonstration School," Superintendent Theresa Battle said. "I know she will bring the same level of excellence to Vista View. Her commitment to culturally proficient practices and track record of supporting growth in student achievement will make her a perfect fit."
