• Anoka-Hennepin School Board approved final phase budget reduction plan (hometownsource.com) — Anoka-Hennepin Schools have approved $8.1 million in budget cuts that include ending the district’s lease at Coon Rapids Family Mall, trimming $700,000 from central services. While class sizes and school schedules are preserved, the plan reduces dozens of academic support, counseling, and social work positions districtwide, changes that will affect services available to Coon Rapids students and families.
