Caponi Given Grant from Minnesota Historical Society
Last week, officials at the society announced that Caponi Art Park would receive a small grant to improve management of its collections.

Eagan's Caponi Art Park was recently granted a bit of a windfall from the Minnesota State Historical Society.
The 60-acre park was given $3,080 to defray the cost of hiring a consultant to develop a collections plan. Once complete, the plan will be used to improve collections care and management.
The money comes from a program called the Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grants, which is funded by a legislative appropriation of $11.2 million. Over 50 organizations around the state were listed as recipients last week. Caponi was the only entity in Dakota County to receive such a grant.
