• District 196 Closes High Schools After 'Potential Threats' (patch.com) — Families in Eagan are seeing all District 196 high schools closed after police received social media threats mentioning potential violence at several campuses. Authorities are tracing the online posts while students already at school were sent home by bus and buildings were closed to visitors. District leaders stress that safety is the top priority as the investigation continues. 
• Eagles take first at Hopkins girls wrestling tourney (hometownsource.com) — Eagan’s girls wrestling team turned in a strong showing at the Hopkins Athena Invitational, finishing fifth overall and highlighting standout performances by Ellie Westerman and Angella Sanchez. Westerman dominated a stacked 124-pound bracket, while Sanchez captured a B-division title at 142 pounds. Several neighboring South Suburban Conference schools also placed well in the 59-team field.
