EAGAN, MN — Celebrate Lake Appreciation Month in Eagan with the city's Lakefest on June 4.

The event will take place 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Blackhawk Park, the city said.

The event is free to the public and no registration is required, according to the city.

  • Canoeing
  • Seeing live fish in a tank

  • Exchanging lead fishing tackle
  • Seeing live insects and reptiles
  • Meet firefighters and see their rescue boats
  • Making crafts
  • Learning about protecting local lakes
  • Buying snacks form a food truck
