County, City Of Eagan Request Feedback On Lone Oak Project

The project will make the road safer by decreasing the number of lanes.

EAGAN, MN — Dakota County and the city of Eagan are hosting an open house June 28 to get feedback on a project on Lone Oak Road.

The open house will be 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Eagan Community Center, the county said.

The project would make the road safer and make roadway and trail improvements on the road in between Highway 13 and Interstate 35E, the county said.

It will also decrease the number of lanes, according to Dakota County. The county said this could help drivers slow down.

After the first open house, there will be two more open houses in winter 2023 and summer 2024, the county said. Construction would begin summer 2025, according to the county.
