DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Dakota County and surrounding areas will be under an excessive heat warning Tuesday, according to National Weather Service.
The warning will be in effect from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., NWS said.

"Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors," NWS shared. "Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances."
If you or someone you know has heat stroke, call 911 immediately, NWS said.
