EAGAN, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol continues to look for a driver who fled a double-fatal crash in Eagan on Saturday.

Just after 3 p.m., a Lincoln MKX was traveling eastbound on Highway 55.

Meanwhile, a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling westbound on Highway 55 and was turning to go southbound on Lexington Avenue.
The Lincoln ran the red light and collided with the passenger side of the Volkswagen, authorities said.

Two passengers in the Volkswagen were killed. The driver of the Volkswagen fled on foot from the scene, according to troopers.
The Lincoln driver was identified as Abby Marie Doepke Loughran, 41, of Eagan. She stayed at the scene, authorities said.
