Eagan Ambassadors Visit the Open Door

See how youth in our community are giving back.

Eagan's July 4th Funfest Ambassadors Sarah Daley, Emma Molina, Alexis Sell, and Emily Kile recently volunteered at The Open Door food pantry to donate food and time to the local charity.

"I was excited to learn more on how The Open Door works as it plays such an important part in helping our community," Molina said.

The Ambassadors arrived at The Open Door and donated over 100 lbs. of food of their own. The Ambassadors and chaperones then organized thousands of donated items by category and placed the items on their shelves.

"My favorite part of the event was getting the opportunity to help people in our community facing food insecurity alongside my fellow Ambassadors," Molina said.

Throughout the year, the Ambassadors participate in a variety of volunteer events and also enjoy visiting neighboring communities festival parades and coronations.
