Eagan-Based Minnesota Aurora Sells Out First Game

EAGAN, MN — Eagan-based women's soccer team Minnesota Aurora FC announced Tuesday that all 5,600 seats for its first game had sold out.
The team's first game of the season is Thursday at 7 p.m. at TCO Stadium, according to its website. Aurora will play against Green Bay Glory in the new USL W League, the team said.
Aurora said that Minneapolis and Eagan-including Sperry Tower, will be lit up teal in support of the team Wednesday and Thursday night.

"The team was founded by a group of Twin Cities residents and announced last June as a founding member of the new USL W League, which will serve as the country’s premier pre-professional league by developing the next generation of women’s talent, both on and off the field," Aurora said.
