Eagan Community Foundation To Host Annual Fundraiser Feb. 24
In its 31-year history, the Foundation said it has raised over $2 million.

EAGAN, MN — Eagan Community Foundation is hosting its annual fundraising event on Feb. 24, according to a news release.
"An ESSENTIAL Evening for Eagan" is the Foundation's first fundraising event of the year, the news release said. The event will be held at Omni Viking Lakes Hotel and tickets will be $75, the Foundation said.
The event will also give the community a change to "pause and give gratitude to Eagan’s essential workers who will be honored at this event," the Foundation said.

The proceeds from the event will be used for grants for non-profits and scholarships for high-school seniors, the Foundation said.
Eagan Community Foundation said it typically gives out $20,000 in grants to non-profits per year, and $115,000 in scholarships. In its 31-year history, the Foundation said it has raised over $2 million.

"We invite and encourage the community to join in this celebration of Eagan and the essential workers that have been pulling us through the last two years," Sally O’Keefe, chair of the annual fundraiser committee, said. "By purchasing a ticket, you can actively ‘show up’ for your community in a time of need."
The night will feature a cocktail hour, sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, wine, beer and spirit pulls, raffles, and live entertainment by vocal stars from Eagan High School, the Foundation said.
