Eagan High School Students Honored as Minnesota Scholars of Distinction
Two students from Eagan High School were honored in a May 18 ceremony.

Forty-two Minnesota high school students were honored Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Scholars of Distinction award program in the areas of Science, STEM, Mathematics, Social Studies, Leadership and Theater Arts.
To earn recognition, a student must have completed required work in Minnesota’s academic standards, demonstrated mastery of complex subject matter, and applied their knowledge and skills in challenging projects, according to a press release from the Minnesota Department of Education.

- Ridhima Mishra, Scholar of Distinction, Mathematics
- Reid Emmons, Scholar of Distinction, Theater Arts
Minnesota Department of Education Deputy Commissioner Jessie Montano was on hand for the ceremony at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley to congratulate the scholars.
