EAGAN, MN — Wescott Library in Eagan recently hosted the first Indigenous woman to sit on any state supreme court in the country, according to a report by Sun Thisweek.

Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Anne McKeig spoke Nov. 8 as part of the library's Indigenous Speaker Series, the report said.

McKeig was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2016 by Gov. Mark Dayton, according to the report.
