Surveillance video shows Wilson's children getting into a car on the street while the man who was shot was on his driveway with his child, according to officials.

Wilson then walked closer to the man and appeared to pull something out of his pocket, causing the child to run away, police said.

Wilson then fired multiple shots, one of which hit the man in the leg, according to the complaint. The man tried to bear spray Wilson but missed, and Wilson got into his car and drove away, police said.

The surveillance came from a neighbor, and six gunshots can be heard at the time of the assault, police said.

Multiple casings were found on scene and a bullet was lodged in the garage a few feet from the man who had been shot, officials said. According to police, an unfired bullet was found near where Wilson was standing and it appears that he racked the loaded firearm before shooting at the man.
