Eagan Rotary's "Live to Give Walk" Aims to Benefit Local Nonprofits

Recipients include Kids 'n Kinship, Neighbors, Inc., Pregnancy Choices and the Eagan Rotary Foundation

EAGAN, MN (April 21, 2025) - The Rotary Club of Eagan, joined by presenting sponsor SPACES, will host the fifth annual Live to Give Walk at Eagan’s Central Park on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Funds raised will benefit nonprofits aimed at supporting the community and include Kids ‘n Kinship, Neighbors, Inc., Pregnancy Choices and the Eagan Rotary Foundation. “The Live to Give Walk brings energy and a strong sense of community to a fun outdoor event shared with neighbors,” said Mike Vruno, Chair of this year’s Live to Give Walk Committee. “We invite teams of all ages to join us, dress up in creative costumes, and take part in supporting some of the region’s most impactful charitable causes.”

The nonprofit recipients benefiting from funds generated by the Live to Give Walk include:
Kids ‘n Kinship provides essential support to youth in need by fostering positive relationships
with adult mentors to help young people improve their social skills and emotional well-being.
Neighbors, Inc. provides emergency assistance programs to low-income community members in northern Dakota county. They help through financial empowerment, hunger relief, and community
support.
Pregnancy Choices is a pregnancy resource center offering no-cost limited medical services, certified life-coaching for motherhood and fatherhood programs, connections to resources, and healthy relationship education.
Eagan Rotary Foundation helps to support youth in the community with such programs as “Sherri’s Books” along with the annual Ethics Workshop for Eagan High School juniors and
seniors.

Participants may register by visiting eaganrotary.org or facebook.com/eaganrotaryclub and are invited to include family members, friends and neighbors to sign up. Peer-to-peer fundraising is encouraged along with creating a team theme and costumes to add to the fun-factor. The 1.1 mile walking path in Eagan’s Central Park is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and wagons. Check-in for the event is from 8 to 9 am, with the start time at 9 am, rain or shine. Costumes will be judged and prizes will be awarded.

Details regarding current sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $5,000 may be found by visiting eaganrotary.org or emailing a request to sponsorships@eaganrotary.org. The first presenting sponsor at $5,000 is SPACES. This tech company, based in New York, has created a phone app for no-contact parking. Now nationwide, this technology allows drivers to enter, pay, and exit any SPACES affiliated parking facility via smartphone.
