Eagan Selects Dianne Miller To Be Next City Administrator

Miller is currently the assistant city administrator. Eagan's current city administrator Dave Osberg is retiring in March.

EAGAN, MN — Eagan City Council has unanimously selected Dianne Miller, the current assistant city administrator, to become the city administrator following Dave Osberg's retirement in March, according to a news release.

Eagan City Council is expected to ratify the contract at its February 15 meeting, the city said.

Miller will become the third ever city administrator in Eagan, according to the city. She has worked in Eagan for 20 years and as assistant city administrator she currently oversees several divisions such as Human Resources, Information Technologies, Elections, and City Clerk functions, the city said.

In 2021, Miller received the “Outstanding Service Award” from the Minnesota City/County Management Association, the city said.

Miller has a bachelor's degree in public administration from St. Mary’s University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Kansas, according to the news release. The city said that Miller lives in Eagan with her husband and four children, and is president of Eagan Kick-Start Rotary.
