Eagan Sisters Eliminated Before Curling Playoffs After 5-4 Loss

Team USA's women's curling team lost to Japan, ending their hopes of making it to the playoffs.

EAGAN, MN — Team USA's women's curling team, featuring Eagan sisters Tabitha and Tara Peterson, didn't make it to the playoffs in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Although the team beat ROC, Denmark and China early on, they later were defeated by Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland and Canada, according to USA Curling. The team then lost its final match 5-4 to Japan, the website said.

The team was "skipped" by Tabitha Paterson.
