Eagan Updates It Precinct Maps

Per the constitution, Minnesota must redistrict every 10 years to ensure equal representation.

EAGAN, MN — The city of Eagan announced that it has adopted a new precincts map.

Per the constitution, Minnesota must redistrict every 10 years to ensure equal representation, the city of Eagan said. Local governments are responsible for redistricting and Eagan said it has updated its precinct boundaries in compliance with this.

Dakota County will mail out postcards in July telling voters of their new polling locations, the city said.

The primary elections will take place Aug. 9 and the general election will take place Nov. 8.
