Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is signing with the Minnesota Vikings, according to multiple reports.

EAGAN, MN — Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is signing with the Minnesota Vikings, according to multiple reports.
Jones became a free agent on Monday after clearing waivers. He and the Giants mutually agreed to part ways after a 2-9 start to the season.
Jones preferred to sign with a playoff contender and is expected to join the Vikings (9-2) for the remainder of the season on a $375,000 contract, ESPN reported.

Both Jones and current Vikings starting quarterback Sam Darnold are set to become free agents at the end of the season.
