Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that brings people together to harness the potential of collective generosity. Fortunately for folks in the Eagan area, there’s no shortage of organizations nearby that could greatly benefit from your support.

Here are five outstanding organizations in the Eagan area. Please consider volunteering or donating to them for Giving Tuesday and beyond.


  1. Reaching Up — Reaching Up provides after-school academic enrichment programs to support elementary, middle school and high school students in financial need, particularly those referred by schools in district 196.   3. The Open Door — The Open Door is a hunger relief organization that serves over 14,000 Dakota County residents monthly and distributes more than 2 million pounds of food annually.
