Here Are The Winners Of Dakota Electric's Board Elections

Three incumbents were re-elected, along with one new board director.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — In Dakota Electric Association's 2022 Board of Directors elections, three incumbents were re-elected, along with one new board director, the association said.

Here are the results from the board elections:

District 1: David Jones(incumbent) from Lakeville won by over 2,700 votes.

District 2: Terry Donnelly from Farmington won by over 360 votes.

District 3: Bill Holton(incumbent) from Apple Valley won by over 1,480 votes.

District 4: Stacy Miller(incumbent) from Eagan won by over 1,950 votes.

While the Board's annual meeting was cancelled due to COVID-19, elections continued via mail and online voting, the association said.

Dakota Electric Association boasts being customer-owned and not-for-profit. It provides electricity to customers throughout Dakota, Goodhue, Rice and Scott Counties, the association said.
