How did you get into the insurance industry?
I started in the Insurance industry in 2012 and enjoy helping my clients get the best coverage at the best price available through the 26 companies I represent.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of the job is when there is a claim, when my clients realize everything is going to be alright because we went through a thorough evaluation and set up great coverage back when they signed up to work with me.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?
It does not have to be as complicated as it sounds--if you have a local agent like me that truly cares about my clients, reviewing your insurance does not have to be the worst part of your year.
What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?
We are real people, working hard for our neighbors. We understand our client's situations, because we are just like them.
What factors should someone consider when exploring their insurance options?
Choose an agent who is responsive, there is nothing more frustrating than calling your agent several times in a week and being told they are always out golfing.
What would you tell someone who’s on the fence about getting a personalized insurance policy quote?
People really dislike being treated like a number or like cattle in a herd (which you will feel when you talk to someone on the other end of an 800 number), talking with me locally for a personalized quote is the opposite experience
What do you like most about the Stillwater area?
I love the St. Croix River valley, great parks, great trails, and great people.

Patriots Tavern--fantastic burgers and fries
