Mike Zimmer's Son Dead At 38
Adam Zimmer, Mike Zimmer's son, was the Minnesota Vikings' co-defensive coordinator in the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Adam Zimmer, the son of former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, has died. He was 38 years old.
The cause and circumstances around his death are not yet public. Adam Zimmer's body was found in his Mendota Heights home after police responded to a welfare check.
Adam Zimmer was the Vikings' co-defensive coordinator in the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Corri Zimmer announced the news about her brother over social media Tuesday morning.
Corri asked people to "pray for our family" in an Instagram post. She also shared various images of her, Adam, and Mike.

"We are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Adam Zimmer," the Vikings organization said in a statement.
"Adam was a kind, respectful man, and over his years in Minnesota, it was evident he cared tremendously about his family, his players, his fellow coaches and the Vikings front office staff. Our thoughts are with Mike, Corri, Marki and the entire Zimmer family."
Adam Zimmer also spent time coaching for the Cincinnati Bengals, as did his father.
"Our organization has had the privilege of knowing and working with the Zimmer family for 15 years," Bengals president Mike Brown said in a statement.
"We have the highest regard for Mike and Adam, and we are incredibly saddened by this tragic news. Mike and Adam were more than just coaches for us — they were friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Zimmer family at this time."
