The Minnesota Vikings (14-3) are heading to the City of Angels to take on the Los Angeles Rams (10-7) in the NFC Wild Card Round.

EAGAN, MN — The Minnesota Vikings (14-3) are heading to the City of Angels to take on the Los Angeles Rams (10-7) in the NFC Wild Card Round. The game, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 13, will kick off at 7 p.m. CT and broadcast on ABC and ESPN.
The Vikings, the NFC’s No. 5 seed, finished the regular season on a bitter note after falling to Detroit in their finale, ceding the NFC North title and the No. 1 overall seed to the Lions (15-2).
Meanwhile, the Rams secured the NFC West crown but slipped to the No. 4 seed following a Week 18 loss to the Seahawks, a game where they opted to rest quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The Road to the Playoffs
This marks the 32nd postseason appearance for the Vikings in their storied 64-season history. Despite a stellar regular season, Minnesota missed out on the top seed, with Detroit being a dominant force in the NFC.
Los Angeles, on the other hand, leaned on its tiebreaker over Seattle to secure home-field advantage for the Wild Card Round. However, resting key players in Week 18 shifted them down from the No. 3 to the No. 4 seed.
