MN Vikings' Justin Jefferson Sidelined With 'Mild Hamstring Strain'

Minnesota's star wide receiver will be re-evaluated next week, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said.

EAGAN, MN — Minnesota Vikings' star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is dealing with a "mild hamstring strain" and will miss practice time, head coach Kevin O’Connell announced Friday.

Jefferson will be held out of training sessions for now and is scheduled to be re-evaluated next week, according to O’Connell.

The team has not announced a specific timeline for Jefferson’s return, but the injury is not believed to be serious.

Jefferson, 26, is entering his sixth NFL season. He has led the league in receiving yards since being drafted in 2020 and remains the cornerstone of the Vikings’ offense.
