EAGAN, MN — The Minnesota Vikings season went from bad to worse over the weekend.

The 1-4 club is planning to place its star wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, on injured reserve due to the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL Network reported.

A player placed on the IR list means they have to sit out for at least four weeks, though he may be on the sidelines for longer depending on the injury progress.
