Part Of Cliff Road To Close For Construction May 2
The reconstruction will include a roundabout at the intersection of Cliff and Dodd Roads, amongst other things.

EAGAN, MN — The portion of Cliff Road between Lexington Avenue and 0.2 miles east of Dodd Road will be closed for construction beginning May 2, according to Dakota County.
The project is scheduled to be finished in October, according to the county.
This section of Cliff Road will be reconstructed to include a roundabout at the intersection of Cliff and Dodd Roads, as well as:

- A two-lane divided roadway with a raised center median
- 8-foot shoulders
- 10-foot shared-use trails on each side of the roadway
- Turn lanes at public intersections
- A signal modification at Lexington Avenue
- Drainage improvements
- Retaining walls
- And more
The project will address safety concerns at the intersection of Cliff and Dodd Roads, the county said. It will also accommodate increasing traffic and create a corridor that is safe for pedestrians, amongst other things, according to the county.
Residents will be able to use the road to get to their homes if they live off of this section of Cliff Road, the county said.
