• Dakota County to host global Expo 2031 Minnesota USA (hometownsource.com) — Eagan is set to be one of the key sites for the massive Expo 2031 Minnesota USA, which could draw millions of visitors and major investment to Dakota County. At the same time, the Eagan City Council has reviewed an ambitious 2026 marketing plan to boost tourism, support local businesses, and promote events like July 4th Funfest, Market Fest, and an Ethiopian soccer tournament.
