As always, the thing that matters most here is people’s health. When it comes to just football, Chicago is in a really difficult situation. Lester Wiltfong Jr. of Windy City Gridiron reports that the Bears will also be without Jaylon Johnson on MNF, meaning there’s just no way they should be able to matchup with Justin Jefferson.

Take a look at what he has to say:

He continues:

As I’ve previsouly indicated, the Vikings have absolutely no excuse to lose this game. The Bears are dealing with a ton. Their Covid-19 situation is really concerning; hopefully all their guys make a quick and full recovery. From a football standpoint, they’re in a really difficult spot. Justin Fields is a turnover machine, Matt Nagy is going to be replaced, and there are plenty of other injuries the team is trying to navigate.

All of this adds up to what ought to be a massive game for Justin Jefferson against the Bears. Even at full health, Chicago wouldn’t have had an answer for him. The only thing that can undermine Minnesota’s sophomore phenom is Minnesota’s QB1 and OC. If those two are off, then Jefferson will struggle. Pretty much the only thing he can’t do is call plays and throw the ball to himself.

I’ve predicted a Vikings win on MNF football. Anything other than a win would be a complete embarrassment.
