Registration Opens For Eagan 5K and Kids Run

The event is hosted by the Eagan Kickstart Rotary Club.

EAGAN, MN — Registration is officially open for the Eagan 5K and Kids Run, according to co-chair Mike Ferber.

He said that this is Eagan Kickstart Rotary's largest fundraiser.

The 5K and Kids Run will be held July 2 at Thomas Lake Park, Ferber said. Participants can pick up their packets at 7 a.m., with the 5K beginning at 8 a.m. and the Kids Run beginning at 9 a.m., he said.

Registration is $40 for adults and $15 for kids until race day, July 2, according to the sign-up page. On race day, the fees increase to $50 for adults and $25 for kids, the rotary club said.

Proceeds will go to Eagan Kickstart Rotary Foundation, Ferber said. The Foundation supports charities such as Eagan's July 4th Funfest, Eagan Community Foundation, The Open Door, Artworks, Can-Do Canines, Eagan YMCA, Feed My Starving Children, Eagan High School Ineract Club and more, Ferber told Patch.

The 5K will be held as part of the Eagan July 4th Funfest, Ferber said. The 5K and Kids Run can be either ran or walked, he said.
