Tuesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high forecast near 36 degrees. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to fall below freezing Wednesday through Saturday, before warming up closer to normal on Sunday.
After a snowstorm overnight Saturday left parts of the Twin Cities covered in up to 6 inches of snow, the NWS said the area should be spared major storms in the coming days. Though some flurries are likely on Tuesday.
