Thomson Reuters Considers Selling Eagan Campus: Report
The massive campus in Eagan is proving to be too big for the company at a time when many employees are working from home.
EAGAN, MN — Thomson Reuters, a media and business services company, is reportedly considering selling all or some of its 263-acre campus in Eagan. The massive office space is proving to be too big for the company at a time when many employees are working from home.
About 5,000 employees worked at the campus before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Star Tribune reports. The company shifted to remote work once the virus began to spread across the United States.
Later this year, Thomson Reuters plans to implement a hybrid model where employees must be in the office for part of each week. Many of the offices will remain vacant, however.
