Brutus is a little chihuahua who is ready to be held and give lots of kisses. He is a one-person dog and will love you forever.

Brutus weighs just 5.5 pounds—a "pocket pet," if you will—and is 4 years old. He was a stray before he came to Last Hope.

He's a quiet, sweet boy most of the time, and great with other dogs. He would be best around kids 16 and up who are used to handling small dogs.

Adoption fee is $175, and he's already been neutered and is current with shots. He's also doing well on housebreaking.

Each Friday, Patch will highlight one animal up for adoption through the nonprofit organization Last Hope, Inc., which holds adoption events from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at area pet stores. Last Hope volunteers take abandoned or unwanted animals into their homes and care for them until they're adopted.
